Our Mission & Vision

The mission of Key Peninsula Baptist Fellowship is to love God, to love others, and to magnify the name of Jesus Christ.

The vision of our church is to glorify our God and Savior, Jesus Christ, to make true disciples throughout all the nations by means of missionary activity and support, to minister the ordinances, to edify believers, and to do all that is sovereignly possible and biblically permissible to magnify the name of Jesus.

Leadership Team:

Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God, and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.

Rick Krum, Awana Commander, Worship Leader, Deacon

Isaiah 40:28-31 (NLT)

28 Have you never heard?  Have you never understood?     The Lord is the everlasting God,  the Creator of all the earth.     He never grows weak or weary.  No one can measure the depths of his understanding. 29 He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. 30 Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. 31 But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength.  They will soar high on wings like eagles.    They will run and not grow weary.  They will walk and not faint.

He and his wife, Kayleen, have served at Key Peninsula Baptist Fellowship since it’s founding in 1994.  Their Ministry is serving in the KPBF Awana Club as Commanders and Youth Ministry Leaders.  Kayleen also serves as Treasurer, Church Pianist along with Rick who also serves as Worship Leader.  “Christ must be first in all we do, for our own strength will fail us, but as we trust and keep our hearts focused on our Great God and Savior He will renew our strength and through His power we will be able to glorify Him.”  Rick is retired US Navy Chief, Submarine Service and Kayleen is an Accounting Manager with World Vision, US.  They are proud parents of an inspiring young lady, Elisabeth!
